The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their accounting career within a dynamic organization. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude while building strong working relationships and supporting team goals.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare and post monthly journal entries.\nPerform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.\nAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.\nReview general ledger transactions and identify issues requiring correction.\nPrepare periodic financial reports including variance analysis.\nMaintain documentation and accounting records in accordance with company policies and GAAP.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and internal controls.\nQualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in accounting.\n1-3 years of accounting experience.\nStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic data analysis.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nPreferred\nExperience with ERP systems.\nExperience in a multi-location or corporate accounting environment.\nKnowledge of financial reporting and internal controls.\nBenefits:\nThe position is exempt, receiving a base salary, straight time over-time, and eligible for a performance bonus.
