In this high-visibility role, you will lead the management of government contracts, including fulfillment of required reports and documents, coordinating compliance requirements and negotiating modifications, Statements of Work (SOWs), and other related agreements.\nServing as the primary liaison between Salesforce and Government Contract Managers, you will play a strategic role in advising internal business leaders, managing contractual risk, and scaling our public sector business-with a primary focus on driving direct government contract compliance.\nWhat You’ll Actually Be Doing\nContract Management & Execution\nLead the end-to-end lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring strict compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and other applicable government specific regulations and policies, and internal corporate policies (e.g., revenue recognition, pricing rules, and approval matrixes).\n\nManage contract execution and other contract management activities.\n\nCoordinate with other teams on activities related to order conversions, pricing verifications,\n\nCollaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable regarding contract invoicing, payments, and administrative systems.\n\nStrategic Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner closely with Legal and Deal Strategy teams to maintain product/pricing catalogues and resolve contract performance issues with Ministry, Council, or Department contract managers.\n\nGuide internal stakeholders on public sector procurement, proactively identifying contractual, regulatory, compliance, and financial risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.\n\nEvaluate existing corporate agreements to identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable, strategic solutions.\n\nEnablement & Operational Excellence\nAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), delivering high-value training to internal teams on public sector procurement processes and best practices.\n\nDrive continuous process improvements, optimising legal workflows, contracting tools, and governance strategies.\n\nYou’re Our Person If…\nExperience: 7-10+ years of combined experience managing government contracts within the public sector or a commercial tech/software entity.\n\nRegulatory Expertise: Operational knowledge of:\nProcurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024, including associated statutory guidance, procurement procedures and PPNs;\n\nGovernment Commercial Agency (GCA) agreements and frameworks, including G-Cloud, Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS), Back Office Software 2 (BOS2) and other relevant technology, cloud and SaaS procurement routes;\n\nGovernment standard contracts, including the Model Services Contract (MSC), Mid-Tier Contract and Short Form Contract;\n\nGovernment commercial, digital and technology policies and guidance, including relevant Playbooks and the Technology Code of Practice.\n\nGovernment security, cyber and national security requirements, including the National Security and Investment Act 2021.\n\nOther legislation, regulations, policy and guidance relevant to central government technology and SaaS procurements.\n\nIndustry Focus: Proven expertise in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and professional services contracting.\n\nFinancial Oversight: Strong background in government financial workflows, including pricing structures, invoicing, and systems administration.\n\nNational Security & Compliance: Practical knowledge of compliance, governance, and security considerations relevant to Government Security Classifications (GSC).\n\nBusiness Acumen: Exceptional judgement with the ability to assess risk magnitude in a fast-paced commercial environment.\n\nRelationship Builder: Proven track record of cultivating trust with internal clients, cross-functional partners, and government contracting personnel.\n\nAdaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, and rapidly evolving landscape.\n\nIntegrity: Uncompromising ethical standards aligned with a values-driven corporate culture.\n\nUnleash Your Potential\nWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
