As a Front End Software Engineer, you will build the breakthrough features customers love, adopt, and use, while keeping the platform stable and scalable.\nResponsibilities\nArchitect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.\nMaster our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it.\nDesign and execute the work needed to ensure quality in your own code as well as other engineers' code.\nWork closely with engineers, product managers, user experience experts, and performance engineers.\nMentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes.\nPresent your designs to internal and external groups and review the designs of others.\nDevelop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit and functional tests to drive up code coverage.\nRequired Skills/Experience\nYou have 4+ years of proven experience in front-end engineering.\nYou have solid knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, and Ajax.\nYou have experience with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay/GraphQL, React Native, Ember.js, or Node.js.\nYou understand at least one object-oriented language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).\nYou have experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, Mocha, QUnit).\nYou are an Agentic Engineer - you build with Claude and similar AI coding tools, using agent loops, tool use, and well-grounded context engineering to ship code fast.\nYou have excellent interpersonal skills.\nYou have a degree or equivalent relevant experience.\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nYou have experience building highly scalable web applications.\nYou have experience with Agile software development.\nYou have good knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and relational schema design.\nAbout Salesforce\nSalesforce is the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI, Data, and CRM.
