The FKP team is critical to the company’s strategy to move to Hyperforce, providing the underlying infrastructure for key services such as Sales, Service, Commerce, Mulesoft, and Tableau.\nResponsibilities\nAs the FKP Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of software for managing Kubernetes clusters at scale. Your role will involve:\nOverseeing the creation of design documents and facilitating presentations to stakeholders.\nManaging the integration and evaluation of open-source technologies into the FKP software stack.\nLeading and mentoring a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering professional growth.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to align goals and strategies.\nRequired Skills\nA related technical degree required\nProven track record leading software engineering teams with a distinguished track record on technically fast paced projects\nExperience leading large scale distributed systems, working with microservices and/or distributed architecture\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills\nAbility to be flexible, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications\nExperience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on a product that’s been released for public consumption\nExperience in hiring, mentoring and leading engineers\nWorking experience of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations\nExperience with Agile development methodologies.
