You will lead the delivery of complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations for government and public sector customers. You will guide multidisciplinary project teams of technical and non-technical consultants, manage customer relationships, and make sure outcomes are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and act as an extension of the account team, helping customers realise the full value of Salesforce.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead project teams, giving clarity, motivation and direction throughout the engagement.\nAct as the primary customer interface, applying Salesforce delivery methodology, project gates and governance.\nBuild and own project plans. Track progress and timelines, adjust schedules as needed, and resolve issues to deliver on time and on budget.\nManage project resources, utilisation, budgets and financials, including timesheet approvals.\nLead large projects, or several smaller interrelated projects, that need complex cross-functional teamwork.\nRun risk, issue, dependency and change management, and communicate regularly with stakeholders.\nFacilitate requirements gathering and help shape project deliverables and documentation.\nCoordinate User Acceptance Testing and business sign-off.\nManage delivery within public sector governance, assurance and reporting requirements. [confirm with Gregory]\nSupport the account team in extending the Salesforce footprint.\nExperience/Skillset Required\nEssential:\n5-7+ years of project management experience, including delivering external client projects.\nDirect responsibility for project delivery, budgets, and schedules, including managing project budgets of £500k+ and teams of 10-20+ people.\nProven record of delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.\nAbility to balance business and technical requirements when building project plans and estimates.\nStrong stakeholder management, including the ability to navigate complex client dynamics and difficult conversations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-visibility team environment.\nWillingness to travel to customer sites as needed.\nDesired (but not essential):\nExperience delivering projects for UK central government or public sector organizations (e.g., NHS, Home Office, DWP) is a big plus.\nProject management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe, or Scrum.\nHands-on Salesforce delivery experience or CRM/enterprise SaaS implementation experience (nice to have, as platform training will be provided internally).\nFamiliarity with UK public sector procurement frameworks and governance/assurance processes.\nExperience managing remote or distributed delivery teams.\nExisting Security Clearance (SC Clearance).\nNOTE: By applying to the Engagement Delivery Manager posting, recruiters and hiring managers across the organization hiring Engagement Delivery Managers will review your resume.
