Join our AI-native Academy as an early-career software engineer to solve real production challenges, build intelligent automation and strengthen system reliability. With hands-on guidance from a senior mentor, you’ll combine software development with production support experience, building the skills to grow into broader product and platform engineering roles.\nYou’ll investigate support cases, troubleshoot production issues and participate in support rotations-gaining firsthand insight into how complex systems work and where they can improve. Your mandate goes beyond resolving individual issues: you’ll build software, AI agents and tools that eliminate recurring manual work and prevent problems from returning.\nYour projects could include agentic Tier 1/2 case automation, automated access workflows, technical knowledge retrieval, log analysis and system hardening. It’s a chance to learn through practical ownership, deliver meaningful improvements and build a foundation for your software engineering career.\nWhat you’ll do\nInvestigate and resolve support cases, production defects, access issues and integration failures.\nBuild automation for recurring tasks such as access requests, case responses, log analysis, troubleshooting and maintenance.\nDevelop AI agents and workflows that help classify cases, retrieve relevant knowledge and execute approved actions with appropriate safeguards.\nIdentify root causes and improve code, monitoring, tests and documentation to prevent recurring incidents.\nWrite, test, review and deploy maintainable software using established engineering practices.\nParticipate in incident response and scheduled support or on-call rotations, with training and guidance appropriate to your experience.\nWork with senior mentors and product teams to understand systems, prioritize improvements and deliver changes safely.\nMeasure the impact of your work through reduced manual effort, fewer repeat issues, faster resolution and improved reliability.\nWhat you’ll bring\nFoundational programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or Go.\nAn understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, version control and debugging.\nAn ability to investigate problems using logs, error messages and system behavior.\nCuriosity about automation, AI-assisted development and reliable production systems.\nClear communication, a collaborative approach and a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.\nA degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nWe welcome evidence of your skills from internships, coursework, personal projects, open-source contributions or professional experience.
