This role offers the opportunity to make tangible business impact while growing your expertise in enterprise Salesforce development and emerging AI technologies.\nWhat You’ll Actually Be Doing\nLead the technical design and implementation of production-ready applications on the Salesforce platform, balancing rapid delivery with reliability, maintainability, security, and scale.\nOwn complex features through requirements analysis, architecture, development, code review, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.\nBuild reusable components and services that improve employee lifecycle experiences and support evolving business processes.\nDesign and maintain robust integrations with upstream and downstream systems using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, event-driven, batch, and real-time patterns.\nAssess the end-to-end impact of new requirements across Salesforce, enterprise data models, dependent applications, and operational processes.\nPartner with product managers, engineering leaders, architects, and cross-functional teams to define scope, make sound tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality solutions.\nUse AI development tools responsibly for code exploration, prototyping, test generation, refactoring, documentation, and troubleshooting; review generated output for correctness and risk before adoption.\nDevelop comprehensive unit, integration, regression, functional, and smoke tests, and integrate quality controls into CI and CD workflows.\nTroubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and improve performance, scalability, availability, fault tolerance, telemetry, monitoring, and analytics.\nRaise team capability through thoughtful code reviews, technical mentoring, standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing across geographies.\nTrack Salesforce releases and emerging technologies, including Agentforce and Prompt Builder, and recommend improvements that advance the platform responsibly.\nYou’re Our Person If…\nTypically 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems and complex technical features.\nA related technical degree is required. \nStrong computer science fundamentals and proficiency in one or more relevant languages, such as Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Apex, Python, Go, C# or .NET.\nExperience designing APIs and integrations with REST, SOAP, GraphQL, middleware, and asynchronous or event-driven architectures.\nStrong front-end fundamentals with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript, and component-based UI development.\nExperience with relational data modeling and database technologies, including SQL or SOQL; familiarity with platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.\nA track record of writing clean, testable code and building unit, integration, regression, service, and UI test suites.\nExperience with Git-based development, modern IDEs, CI and CD tooling, release management, and production monitoring.\nExperience delivering software on public cloud or SaaS platforms, such as Salesforce, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nSound judgment when reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, privacy, licensing, and maintainability.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across organizational boundaries.\nHands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, DML, governor limits, and modern platform patterns; familiarity with Aura or Visualforce is useful for existing applications.\nEven Better If…\nExperience with Salesforce Developer Experience, scratch orgs, CLI tools, managed or unlocked packages, or AppExchange development.\nExperience building Agentforce agents and actions, or MCP tools for production workflows.\nIntegration experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, Slack, MuleSoft, or other employee and business systems.\nExperience establishing non-functional requirements for security, scalability, availability, observability, compliance, and fault tolerance.\nKnowledge of data-modeling practices, contributions to open source, or relevant Salesforce, Java, or cloud certifications.\nExperience working in Agile or Scrum teams and adapting delivery practices to changing business and technical needs.\nHow you will work\nYou will work in a hybrid engineering model with teammates across geographies.
