You will be instrumental in architecting scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions that empower our customers to connect their data, apps, and devices.\nWhat You'll Actually Be Doing\nArchitectural Design & Strategy: Lead the architectural design and development of large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions on the MuleSoft platforms. Define best practices, reusable patterns, and technical standards for our engineering teams.\nTechnical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for MuleSoft, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to senior engineers and development teams. Drive technical roadmap discussions and influence product direction.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineering leads, and other architects to translate business requirements into robust technical designs. Ensure seamless integration between MuleSoft, and the core Salesforce platform.\nInnovation & Prototyping: Stay at the forefront of cloud-native technologies, integration patterns, and PaaS/iPaaS trends. Lead proof-of-concept projects and prototyping efforts to evaluate new technologies and validate architectural approaches.\nPerformance & Scalability: Define and oversee non-functional requirements, ensuring solutions are built for high availability, scalability, security, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in production environments.\n You're Our Person If...\n15+ years of software development experience, with at least 8+ years in a technical leadership or architect role.\nDeep, hands-on expertise designing complex integration solutions.\nStrong understanding of containers and kubernetes\nExpertise in enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.\nStrong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Node.js).\nExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n Even Better If...\nSalesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Architect certification.\nExperience with other parts of the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Core Platform, Experience Cloud, Tableau).\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).\nExperience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms.\nJoin us at Salesforce and be a part of a team that is transforming how companies connect with their customers.
