This is a hybrid role where one would spend time configuring, developing, and testing Workday functionalities and integrations. In addition to Workday expertise, the individual should have knowledge of manually testing and expertise to leverage automation tools like Kainos.\nYou must have a solid background in Workday with hands-on experience in one or more Workday HRMS modules and a good understanding of industry best practices. You will be responsible for configuration, development, and testing through all phases of the implementation lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeliver Workday enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering both functional and technical aspects.\nClosely work with the internal Workday teams and business users to understand the business requirements, including working with 3rd party integrators.\nParticipate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers, and business systems analysts.\nBuild test automation that is effective, scalable, and maintainable using tools such as Kainos.\nParticipate in and contribute to code reviews.\nDiagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.\nEnsure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.\nRequired experience:\nWorkday certification in one or more areas - Workday Pro in function modules (HCM Core/Benefits/Compensation/Payroll/Time & Absence/Recruiting)\nIn-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, and integration.\n4+ years of implementation experience in Workday HRMS and Workday Integrations\nWorking knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT.\nWell-versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases.\nBusiness analysis and requirements gathering abilities.\nExperience in leading a full life cycle Workday implementations.\nWorking knowledge of data modeling design and relational database languages (SQL or SOQL).\nWorking Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST).\nExperience in defining test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting for Workday or any enterprise HR software applications.\nAbility to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager\nExperience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience.\nDesired experience and qualifications:\nExperience of working on Workday modules like HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time & Absence\nExperience working on Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus\nFamiliarity with Annual Benefit Enrollment, Compensation Merit and Promotion cycles\nExperience Troubleshooting with MuleSoft\nExperience working in and around the software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service architectures and/or industry\nA demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering - using AI to move faster, build fluency across the stack, and contribute well beyond your core specialty.\nExperience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows.\nAdvanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, secure, and production-ready.\nUnleash Your Potential\nWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
