Proactively manages timelines and meets all deadlines. Collaborates daily with the Dev and Help Desk team participating in team level reviews and revisions. Collaborates with clients, users, and subject matter experts to gather accurate and up-to-date information. Translates complex requirement concepts into clear and concise language for a diverse audience (technical and non-technical). Ensures documentation is well-organized, easy to navigate, and adheres to organizational style guides. Develops and maintains user guides, training materials, and other communication pieces. Keeps existing documentation up-to-date and is responsible for reviewing, updating, and maintaining documents as the application changes.\nResponsibilities:\nDrafts, edits, and maintains a repository of security policies, procedures, guidelines, handbooks, and best practices. \nProactively manages timelines and meets all deadlines.\nCollaborates daily and participates in team level document reviews and revisions.\nCollaborates with subject matter experts to gather accurate and up-to-date information.\nTranslates complex requirement concepts into clear and concise language for a diverse audience (technical and non-technical).\nEnsures documentation is well-organized, easy to navigate, and adheres to style guides.\nDevelops and maintains user guides, training materials, and other communication pieces related to security policies.\nKeeps existing policies up-to-date and is responsible for reviewing, updating, and maintaining policies as regulations change.\nTechnical Skills:\nHighly adept and proficient with MS Office products.\nPossesses excellent written and oral communication skills.\nCapability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with high attention to detail.\nTranslates complex concepts into clear and concise language for a diverse audience (technical and non-technical).\nEvaluate the user feedback to retrieve information on documentation and use it to enhance usability.\nExperience with technical writer and documentation concepts and standards (e.g., accessibility standards).\nKnowledge with RMF, NIST, and other federal cybersecurity policies is a plus, but not required.\nSkills:\nAbility to work cooperatively at technical and professional level with developers, engineers, and managers on system teams.\nAbility to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and duties simultaneously while effectively coordinating and ensuring that scheduled delivery dates and milestones are achieved.\nAble to communicate effectively in an accurate and concise manner through written and verbal means to project leadership and teams.\nAbility to take initiative on assigned tasks and work with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work and collaborate as part of an integrated team with diverse backgrounds.\nRequirements:\n3+ years of relevant experience\nMust have an active Public Trust Clearance or higher level clearance\nSalary Range: $70,000 - $80,000\nThe salary range listed for this position is based on multiple factors, including relevant years of experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, security clearance level, and overall alignment with the role’s requirements.
