Covering sites across Taunton and the surrounding areas, you will play a key role in delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong multi-skilled building services knowledge who enjoys working independently while delivering high standards of service and customer satisfaction.\nFCU, VRF, VAV - Both electric and pneumatic\nAHUs - Filters, motors, belts and all safety and temperature equipment\nLTHW, HWS & CHW circulation pumps\nInstall and maintain valves such as isolation valves, TMVs, PRVs, NRVs, and drain cocks.\nSprinklers, Fire alarm - weekly testing\nCalorifiers/ water heaters and associated safety devices including pressure vessels\nLighting & Emergency Lighting\nBasic Plumbing tasks (Ball Valves, Toilet Systems, Control Valves, taps)\nMinor Electrical Maintenance tasks (LED replacement, component replacement)\nHSG274 Water Hygiene Tasks to closed loop and domestic water systems\n(All tasks above subject to training, competency checks & qualifications where required)\nKey Focus Areas\nDeliver and demonstrate Atlas Workplace Services competencies to the highest standard.\nUndertake delivery of PPM and minor works across the portfolio.\nMaintain clear communication, ensuring the Client, Customer, and Team are regularly updated and informed.\nContribute to the delivery of a high-quality service, targeting 100% customer satisfaction.\nProvide technical support, advice, and guidance to both Customers and internal Teams.\nEnsure best value for money for the Client by verifying that resources and materials are appropriate and sufficient to complete works effectively.\nEnsure all works, including those delivered by service partners, are completed safely and in compliance with Atlas standards.\nProduce accurate details of time and materials required for minor works to support quotation processes.\nLiaise with Account Coordinators, Schedulers, Management, and Sub-contractors to deliver works in line with SLA requirements and to a high standard.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with Clients, Customers, and Atlas colleagues.\nEnsure the Maximo system is consistently updated via the issued tablet, with all time accurately recorded on timesheets.\nTake ownership of the quality and standard of work delivered, always ensuring exceptional customer service.\nParticipate in out-of-hours call-out rota as required.\nAbout You\nEssential Requirements\nGCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)\nDesirable Requirements\nAccredited Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Working Safely or equivalent)\nCity & Guilds BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\nCity & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect Electrical qualification (or equivalent)\nCity & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, HVAC or Building Services\nLegionella (L8) trained and competent\nHot Water Systems and Safety (HWSS) - G3 Unvented\nCity & Guilds TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) Service, Commissioning & Maintenance\nAbout The Company\nAt Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
