You will be the first response to all maintenance issues, acting as the client's trusted eyes and ears on site, identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring the highest standards of presentation, safety, and compliance are maintained at all times.\nWorking within a live enterainment environment requires professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Every repair, inspection, and maintenance task contributes directly to the smooth operation of some of London's most renowned venues.\nExperience within a theatre, entertainment, hospitality, or high-profile customer environment would be highly advantageous.\nThe Role\nAs a Maintenance Operative, you will deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, compliance activities, and minor works across the theatre portfolio. You will build strong relationships with client representatives and theatre teams, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery at every stage.\nYou will take ownership of your sites, proactively identifying maintenance concerns and escalating issues where required, helping to protect the integrity and reputation of these prestigious venues.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient & Service Delivery\nAct as the first response to maintenance issues across the theatre estate, serving as the client's trusted eyes and ears on site.\nBuild strong relationships with theatre teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular updates.\nDeliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the high standards expected within a prestigious live theatre environment.\nMaintenance & Compliance\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and minor works across the portfolio.\nSupport statutory compliance requirements and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Atlas standards and service level agreements.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement and proactively report building issues before they impact operations.\nSystems & Coordination\nAccurately manage work orders, asset information, and time records using the Maximo CAFM system.\nLiaise with managers, schedulers, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless service delivery.\nSupport minor works by identifying material and labour requirements where required.\nTechnical Maintenance Activities\nUndertake a broad range of fabric and plumbing repairs, including carpentry, door hardware, sanitaryware, drainage systems, and general building maintenance.\nComplete routine inspections and compliance tasks, including water hygiene, roof and façade checks, filter cleaning, drainage inspections, and other PPM activities.\nMaintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of theatre facilities to the highest standard.\nAbout You\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment.\nStrong all-round maintenance skills across fabric and basic plumbing disciplines.\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.\nA customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectively.\nComfortable working within a high-profile, customer-facing environment.\nTheatre, entertainment, hospitality, or heritage building experience is desirable but not essential.\nDesirable Qualifications & Experience\nExperience working within a theatre, live entertainment, hospitality, heritage, or other high-profile customer-facing environment where attention to detail and exceptionally high maintenance standards are essential.\nPrevious experience supporting listed or historic buildings.\nKnowledge of CAFM systems such as Maximo.\nBasic qualifications or training in building maintenance, fabric repairs, or plumbing disciplines.\nExperience working within facilities management or a customer-focused maintenance role.\nAbout The Company\nAt Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
