The role offers the opportunity to apply your CA(SA) training in a practical environment, engage directly with senior management, and develop your internal audit and commercial skill set.\nIf you're a CA(SA) who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, challenging controls and finding practical ways to improve processes, this could be an excellent next step in your career.\nDuties:\nAssessing business processes to identify key risks and controls.\nEvaluating the internal control environment and developing audit programmes.\nConducting audits to identify control deficiencies, potential fraud, regulatory gaps and deviations from policies and procedures.\nPreparing detailed working papers, computations and audit reports.\nProviding practical recommendations to improve controls and business processes.\nHandling complex audit elements and issues escalated by management.\nPresenting audit findings and recommendations to senior management.\nBuilding strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.\nSupporting the implementation of recommendations and conducting follow-up audits.\nContributing to process improvements and the development of the broader audit team.\nJob Experience & Skills Required:\nQualifications:\nMatric (Grade 12)\nBCom Accounting\nBCom Honours / CTA\nCA(SA)\nExperience:\nNewly qualified to 1 year post-articles experience.\nExposure to retail, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly advantageous.\nStrong understanding of internal controls, risk and audit methodologies.\nAdvanced Excel and MS Office skills.\nStrong report-writing and analytical capabilities.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nCommercially minded with strong business acumen.\nSelf-motivated, organised and able to work independently.\nHigh attention to detail and a methodical approach.\nComfortable working towards targets and deadlines.\nWillingness to travel approximately 25% of the time within South Africa.\nSkills & Competencies:\nInternal Audit & Risk Assessment\nInternal Controls & Governance\nAudit Planning & Execution\nRisk & Control Evaluation\nFraud & Compliance Identification\nAudit Report Writing\nAdvanced MS Excel & MS Office\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving Skills\nStrong Business Acumen\nStakeholder & Relationship Management\nAttention to Detail\nStrong Communication & Interpersonal Skills\nSelf-Motivated & Results-Driven\nAbility to Work Independently\nProcess Improvement & Practical Recommendations\n If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
