This role sits at the intersection of data and investment decision-making - translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support portfolio monitoring, risk management, and investment operations. You’ll report into the Senior Reporting Analyst / Head of Reporting.\nDue to the high volume of applications expected, candidates who have not received feedback within two weeks of applying should consider their application unsuccessful.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for investment, risk, and operations teams\nMonitor portfolio performance, cash flows, and credit risk metrics through data-driven analysis\nAutomate recurring reporting processes to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency\nPartner with investment professionals to translate business requirements into BI solutions\nWork with IT and data engineering teams to optimise data pipelines and database structures\nConduct ad-hoc analysis on investment, performance, and market-related questions\nMaintain data accuracy and integrity across all reporting outputs\nTechnical Requirements\nAdvanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik\nStrong SQL skills for complex data extraction and transformation\nData modelling experience - star schema, snowflake schema\nHands-on ETL experience\nStrong Excel skills including Power Query and VBA\nSnowflake experience advantageous\nDomain Knowledge\nUnderstanding of asset management and investment strategies across public and private markets, fixed income, alternatives, and structured products\nFamiliarity with the investment lifecycle - research, portfolio construction, trade execution, performance attribution\nAbility to work with data from financial statements, market data providers, and portfolio management systems\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field\n5+ years in BI, data analytics, or investment operations -
