This role requires a hands-on technologist who can lead architectural decisions, deliver complex migrations, and collaborate closely with global stakeholders.\nThe role is based in Budapest, with a hybrid working model requiring three days per week on-site, working alongside local and international teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable, enterprise-grade data architectures using modern cloud data platforms, with a strong focus on Snowflake\nLead and contribute to large-scale data migrations from Hadoop, Spark, and other legacy big-data platforms to cloud-native solutions\nArchitect and build production-grade ELT/ETL pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and data quality\nWork closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions\nApply best practices in data modelling, ingestion, transformation, and orchestration within complex enterprise environments\nCollaborate effectively within distributed global teams, contributing to design discussions and technical decision-making across regions\nEnsure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, security, and maintainability\nRequired Skills & Experience\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake in enterprise production environments\nProven experience delivering data migrations from Hadoop, Spark, or other large-scale big-data platforms\nBackground working in large, enterprise-scale data environments (not small or start-up platforms)\nDemonstrated experience building and maintaining production-ready ELT/ETL pipelines\nSolid understanding of modern data architecture principles, cloud data platforms, and distributed systems\nComfortable working in globally distributed teams across time zones\n Fluent Hungarian (spoken and written)\nWilling and able to work three days per week from the Budapest office\nNice to Have\nExperience in consulting or multi-client delivery
