This is an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale datasets, modern cloud technologies and secure environments where your work will have a genuine impact.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAs the Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering robust, scalable data solutions. You’ll be responsible for: Designing, building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.\nDeveloping data models and structures that support reporting, analytics and operational decision-making.\nDelivering data migration, transformation and integration activities across multiple systems.\nEnsuring data quality, integrity and governance through validation and monitoring.\nOptimising data platforms for scalability, performance and reliability.\nCollaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.\nSupporting secure data integration across multiple platforms and environments.\nProducing clear documentation for data pipelines, architectures and data flows. What we’re looking for:\nWe’re looking for someone who brings a combination of strong engineering capability and experience working in secure, enterprise environments.\nYou’ll ideally have: Proven experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.\nExperience working within PSPF, DISP and/or IRAP accredited environments.\nStrong data integration experience including mapping, transformation and orchestration.\nExperience working with structured and unstructured data.\nKnowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure or AWS.\nA solid understanding of data modelling, governance and lifecycle management.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience within Telecommunications or Government environments will be highly regarded.\nCurrent NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
