With continued growth both locally and internationally, they are looking to add a Payroll Consultant to their team.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys payroll but wants to move beyond traditional payroll processing into a more consultative, client-focused role.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Payroll Consultant, you will work closely with clients to support payroll processing, provide payroll guidance, troubleshoot issues, and assist businesses in getting the most value from their payroll systems.\nYou will become a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate payroll complexities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess and support end-to-end payroll activities for clients\nAssist clients with payroll-related queries and troubleshooting\nProvide guidance on payroll legislation and best practices\nPrepare and submit payroll-related statutory requirements\nConduct payroll reconciliations and reporting\nSupport payroll implementations, system upgrades, and migrations\nInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies\nLiaise with internal teams to address complex payroll issues\nMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation\nBuild strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional service\nRequirements\n2-5 years’ payroll experience\nStrong understanding of payroll processes and legislation\nExperience with payroll systems such as Sage VIP, Sage 300, PaySpace, SimplePay or similar\nKnowledge of EMP201, EMP501, UIF, PAYE and statutory submissions\nStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nProficient in Microsoft Excel\nHighly Advantageous\nPayroll bureau or outsourced payroll experience\nExperience supporting multiple clients\nExposure to payroll implementations or system
