You will be working alongside developers, artists, designers, producers and clients to make sure every experience performs exactly as it should.\nWhat you’ll be doing Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases\nPerforming functional, regression, integration, exploratory and UAT testing\nTesting software releases across multiple platforms and devices\nIdentifying, documenting and tracking defects through to resolution\nTesting AR, VR, XR and interactive applications across different devices and environments\nEvaluating user journeys, interactions and overall experience quality\nTesting tracking accuracy, spatial alignment, navigation and interaction responsiveness\nConducting performance and stability testing\nIdentifying issues impacting frame rates, latency, loading times and reliability\nValidating compatibility across browsers, operating systems and devices\nWorking closely with developers, designers and project teams throughout delivery\nContributing to QA standards, best practices and continuous improvement\nHelping build and maintain automated testing processes where appropriate What we’re looking for\nYou’ll have strong experience in software QA or testing, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practice.\nWe’re looking for someone who can: Create effective test plans, scenarios and defect reports\nWork comfortably within Agile delivery environments\nApply strong analytical and problem-solving skills\nCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nHave an exceptional eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality Experience that will make you stand out\nExperience in any of the following would be highly regarded: AR/VR/Spatial/3D\nGaming\nInteractive media\nReal-time 3D applications\nAutomated testing\nAccessibility and usability testing if you’ve worked with platforms such as Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive, Magic Leap or HoloLens, or understand computer vision, spatial computing or digital twin technologies it would be highly beneficial.\nWhy this role?\nSuccess in this role means becoming a trusted QA advocate across multiple projects, reducing production defects, improving release confidence and helping deliver exceptional immersive experiences for clients and users.\nIf you’re an experienced QA professional looking for something more exciting than traditional software testing, we’d love to hear from you.\nAcknowledgement of Country\nSalt respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands across Australia as the continuing custodians of country and culture.
