This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reporting of financial transactions across a complex payments ecosystem.As a Reconciliation & Reporting Analyst, you’ll reconcile transaction, settlement, and banking data across multiple sources, investigate discrepancies, support month-end reporting, and help build automated solutions that improve financial controls and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across payment networks, processors, banking partners, and internal systems.\nInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions.\nDevelop and maintain SQL-based reporting and reconciliation processes.\nSupport month-end close with reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation.\nMonitor settlement and funding activities, identifying risks and anomalies.\nPartner with Engineering, Product, Treasury, Accounting, and Compliance teams to improve processes and controls.\nContribute to KPI reporting, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement. About You 5+ years’ experience in reconciliation, payments operations, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role (Ideally within fintech or banking)\nMust have excellent communication skills and experience in Australian fintech or banking industry.\nMust have Strong SQL, BI/reporting platforms (Looker, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience within payments, card schemes, settlements, or financial services is a must!\nMust be in either Sydney or Melbourne location Why Apply?
