You’ll play a key role in the design, deployment, optimisation, and ongoing operation of next-generation network platforms while providing technical leadership and mentoring across the wider team.\nThe Opportunity\nYou will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting highly available network services across data centre, LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud environments. Working closely with architecture, security, infrastructure, and project teams, you’ll contribute to strategic network initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across critical services.\nA major focus of the role will be supporting and enhancing modern data centre networking technologies including Cisco Nexus environments, VXLAN/EVPN fabrics, network automation platforms, and multi-vendor networking ecosystems.\nKey Responsibilities Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud and data centre environments.\nLead the deployment and optimisation of Cisco Nexus Data Centre technologies including VXLAN/EVPN fabric architectures.\nConfigure and support advanced routing and switching technologies including BGP and OSPF.\nDevelop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible and related automation frameworks.\nSupport and enhance automation platforms, CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code practices.\nAdminister and optimise Cisco Nexus Dashboard and associated data centre management platforms.\nManage and troubleshoot complex network incidents and provide technical leadership during major incidents.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver network transformation initiatives.\nProvide mentoring and technical guidance to engineers across the broader network team.\nContribute to network architecture, standards, documentation, governance and continuous improvement initiatives. About You\nYou are a highly capable Senior Network Engineer with experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments and possess a strong blend of networking, automation and infrastructure expertise.\nYou will bring: 7+ years’ experience designing, deploying and supporting enterprise-scale network environments.\nStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus Data Centre technologies.\nProven experience designing and supporting VXLAN/EVPN fabric architectures.\nAdvanced routing and switching expertise including BGP, OSPF and enterprise LAN technologies.\nExperience working within multi-vendor networking environments including Cisco and Aruba.\nStrong Wireless LAN design and support experience.\nNetwork automation expertise using Python scripting, Ansible and related automation tools.\nExperience with Cisco Nexus Dashboard.\nKnowledge of cloud networking across AWS and/or Azure environments.\nExperience with load balancing technologies including Citrix NetScaler and/or F5.\nExposure to Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, Git, Linux and CI/CD toolchains.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.\nRelevant industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE will be highly regarded.
