249 Employees \n\n£450.00 - £450.00 per day \n\nEnvironment:\n\nIn-office \n\nContract Type:\n\nContract \n\nStarts:\n\n2026-09-21 \n\nDuration:\n\n6 Months \n\nDeployment Manager, Windows 11 Rollout\nRate: £450 per day Umbrella\nIR35: Inside IR35\nContract: 3 months\nLocation: South West London\nWorking Pattern: 5 days per week onsite\nThe Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Deployment Manager to lead the onsite delivery of a large scale Windows 11 device migration programme.\nThe programme involves the rollout of approximately 2,100 devices, and you will take responsibility for the day to day operational delivery, coordinating deployment engineers, rollout waves, business teams and end users.\nThis is a hands on delivery leadership role requiring someone with a strong technical understanding of Windows 11 device deployments, Intune and Autopilot.\nDue to the nature of the rollout, you will be required onsite 5 days per week.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the onsite delivery of a large scale Windows 11 device rollout\nManage and coordinate third party deployment engineers\nPlan and manage deployment waves across multiple departments and user groups\nManage daily deployment schedules, appointments and rollout capacity\nEnsure devices, applications and users are ready ahead of each deployment wave\nOversee Windows 11 device provisioning through Intune and Autopilot\nAct as the main point of contact between technical teams, business services and end users\nManage deployment day technical issues, failed deployments and remediation\nCoordinate with Intune, application packaging, infrastructure and Service Desk teams\nMaintain live deployment trackers covering completed, outstanding, failed and deferred devices\nMonitor deployment volumes and progress against agreed targets\nManage third party supplier and engineering performance\nProvide regular progress updates and reporting\nMaintain RAID logs and escalate risks, issues and dependencies\nEnsure device handover and deployment quality standards are maintained\nEssential Experience\nProven experience leading large scale end user device deployments\nStrong experience delivering Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations\nExperience managing technology rollouts of at least 500 devices\nStrong technical understanding of Microsoft Intune\nExperience with Windows Autopilot\nGood understanding of device provisioning, enrolment, application deployment and user profile setup\nExperience managing phased or wave based device deployments\nExperience leading or coordinating technical deployment engineers\nStrong deployment scheduling and resource planning experience\nAbility to troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of deployment issues\nStrong stakeholder management and end user communication skills\nExperience managing third party suppliers or technical delivery partners\nExperience maintaining deployment trackers, RAID logs and progress reporting\nDesirable Experience\nLocal Government or wider Public Sector experience\nPrevious experience delivering multi site device rollouts\nApplication packaging knowledge\nSCCM experience\nPowerShell knowledge\nITIL Foundation or equivalent\nThis role would particularly suit a Technical Deployment Lead, Technical Rollout Lead, Windows 11 Deployment Lead, EUC Deployment Lead or experienced Deployment Manager with a strong technical background in enterprise device rollouts.\n*Rates depend on experience and client requirements","description_format":"text","description_chars":3565,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Government"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T21:54:51Z"}],"liveness":{"score":13,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.9,"p_active":0.256,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":39,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:55","agency","stale_co","urgency","velocity","win:tail","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":148750,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/salt-windows-11-deployment-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/salt-windows-11-deployment-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T03:11:05Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2843,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2157,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
