The best candidate for this role would be a digital native with a strong understanding of social media platforms like Meta & TikTok. They are interested in functioning as part of a high-performance team, collaborating with internal departments, media vendors and client teams to deliver results. This person is extremely solution-oriented, and has a knack for problem solving in a fast-paced environment. \nYou will work closely with Managers and the broader media team to ensure campaigns are implemented effectively, tracked accurately, and optimized based on performance insights. This is an entry-level role designed to develop your understanding of full-funnel media, tools, and performance-driven marketing. \nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES \nMedia Planning, Buying & Investment Management \nSupport campaign setup, trafficking, and budget allocation across platforms (e.g., META, TikTok). \nAssist in managing insertion orders, budgets, and delivery pacing under guidance. \nEnsure campaigns are executed according to approved plans and timelines. \nIntegrated Media Strategy & Full-Funnel Planning \nAssist in the preparation of media plans, proposals, and supporting documentation. \nDevelop an understanding of how different channels contribute to awareness, consideration, and conversion. \nSupport the team in aligning campaign execution to client objectives and KPIs \nMeasurement, Analytics & Insight Development \nCompile and maintain campaign reports using GA4, platform dashboards, and internal tools. \nValidate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports. \nIdentify basic trends or performance changes and escalate to your manager \nMedia Tools, Platforms & Technology Fluency \nBuild working knowledge of key platforms (Meta, TikTok eg.). \nLearn and apply Salt’s internal processes, naming conventions, and tech stack. \nSupport tagging, tracking, and implementation of campaign requirements. \nPerformance Optimization, Testing & Automation \nImplement basic optimizations (budget adjustments, creative swaps, audience updates) as directed. \nMonitor campaigns for pacing and performance issues. \nSupport A/B testing initiatives and document results \nChannel & Audience Strategy & Data Application \nAssist with audience setup and targeting based on defined strategies. \nLearn how audience insights and data inform media decisions. \nSupport the organization and documentation of audience and channel learning \nCollaboration & Team Contribution \nWork closely with internal teams (account, creative, strategy) to ensure alignment on assets and timelines. \nCommunicate clearly and proactively regarding progress, blockers, and updates. \nContribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. \nEXPERIENCE & SKILLS \n1-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or digital media \nFoundational knowledge of digital media platforms (Meta & TikTok are primary focus.). \nExposure to analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) nice to have. \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace. \nPERKS & BENEFITS THAT SET US APART \nWe don’t just talk about balance, growth, and culture, we build for it: \nWork-Life Flexibility: Hybrid setup, up to 28 paid days off and winter holiday shutdowns \nComprehensive Coverage: Health, dental, and vision plans, plus Salt Bucks to spend on what matters to you-wellness, RRSPs, or extra time off. \nGrowth-Driven Culture: Dedicated Salt Days, top-tier learning access, and formal leadership development. \nCelebration-First Mentality: Legendary team trips, seasonal socials, and Salt Swag that reps your squad. \nReal Rewards: Referral and new business bonuses, exclusive lifestyle perks, and personalized wellness options. \nCulture of Belonging: DEI programs, active ERGs, and a workplace where every voice counts. \nWHAT WE STAND FOR \nSalt of the Earth: We lead with humility, honesty, and heart-always. \nDo What’s Right: No shortcuts. Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs.
