This role serves as the primary technical and operational leader onsite, supporting maintenance, incident response, and continuous improvement efforts to achieve and sustain 99.999% uptime. The DCSM collaborates with engineering teams, vendors, and leadership while managing daily operations, staffing, and site performance.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLeadership & Team Management\nLead, manage, and develop a team of engineering and technical personnel.\nFoster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nOversee staffing, workload distribution, and shift coverage across all operations.\nProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance to team members.\nCollaborate with HR on workforce planning, compensation, and personnel management.\nOperational Oversight\nOperate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.\nManage preventive maintenance, corrective work, and emergency response activities.\nEnsure peak efficiency of mission-critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, HVAC, etc.).\nConduct inspections of building systems and maintain clean, safe operating conditions.\nManage work orders, track completion, and verify quality of work performed.\nLead incident response, investigations, and resolution of facility issues.\nOversee vendor activity and evaluate contractor performance.\nProject & Technical Management\nManage multiple complex projects and site initiatives simultaneously.\nAnalyze technical documentation (AutoCAD, Visio) and interpret system designs.\nDevelop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.\nConduct audits of maintenance procedures and change management processes.\nReview drawings and perform site surveys to assess system operations.\nPropose and implement operational improvements and client solutions.\nTrack and report operational metrics, site performance, and efficiency.\nFinancial & Administrative Management\nManage site budgets, expenses, and financial tracking.\nSupport cost estimation for installations and capital projects.\nCoordinate payments, invoicing, and financial processes.\nAssist in developing operating standards, procedures, and documentation.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for facility operations.\nBuild relationships with clients, property management, and stakeholders.\nCollaborate including:Generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS/STS, PDUs \nChillers, AHUs, CRAC units, cooling systems\nBuilding automation and control systems\nExperience with maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and system operations.\nAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.\nStrong problem-solving and observational skills.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50lbs. \nAbility to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment\nAbility to stand for long periods of time in various work environments\nAbility to bend, This range reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location.
