As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking for a\nreliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team\nand help elevate our client relationships to new heights. \nWe are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Coordinator with an electrical bias to support the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects within data centre environments across the Amsterdam region.\nThis is a hands-on project coordination role combining site-based delivery support, planning, technical coordination and project administration. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers and client stakeholders to ensure projects are planned effectively, coordinated safely and delivered in accordance with programme, quality and technical requirements.\nPrevious data centre experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates from construction, building services, industrial, engineering or other technically complex environments who have strong organisational skills and a good understanding of electrical and construction principles.\nThe role requires flexibility, with time split between project sites, home working and occasional travel to other locations as required\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Project Coordinator will support the project team across the full project lifecycle, including:\nCoordinating day-to-day project activities between the Project Manager, client, contractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams.\nSupporting the planning and sequencing of construction activities and maintaining short-term look-ahead programmes.\nMonitoring project actions, milestones, dependencies and deliverables and following up with responsible parties to maintain progress.\nAttending project, site and coordination meetings and ensuring actions are accurately recorded, assigned and closed out.\nSupporting the coordination of electrical installations and associated building-services interfaces.\nReviewing drawings, specifications, schedules and technical documentation to develop an understanding of project requirements and identify coordination issues.\nSupporting site surveys, inspections and verification of existing installations and site conditions.\nCoordinating contractors and specialist suppliers working within operational or construction environments.\nMonitoring site progress against agreed programmes and providing clear progress updates to the Project Manager.\nIdentifying potential programme, technical, logistical or interface risks and escalating these at an early stage\nElectrical FocusThe role does not require the individual to act as the project's Electrical Design Engineer; however, a good practical understanding of electrical engineering and electrical construction is required.\nIdeally, candidates will have experience or knowledge of some of the following:\nLV electrical distribution systems\nMV systems and associated infrastructure\nSwitchgear and distribution boards\nUPS systems and battery installations\nStandby generators\nATS / STS systems\nCable containment and cabling\nEarthing and bonding\nElectrical controls and monitoring systems\nBMS / EPMS interfaces\nTesting and commissioning\nElectrical isolation, LOTO and safe systems of work\nExperience within live or operational environments where continuity of service is critical would be particularly valuable.\n\nGeneral Duties\nSupporting the preparation and review of RAMS, permits, work plans, technical submittals and other project documentation.\nAssisting with procurement activities, equipment schedules, delivery planning and coordination of long-lead items.\nMaintaining project trackers, drawing registers, RFI schedules, action logs, change registers and other project controls.\nSupporting quality inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning and project close-out activities.\nCoordinating completion documentation including test records, as-built information, O&M documentation and handover records.\nSupporting safe working practices and ensuring project activities are coordinated in accordance with site and client procedures.\nMaintaining effective communication between site teams and project stakeholders throughout delivery.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\nPrevious experience in a project coordination, construction coordination, site coordination, engineering coordination or similar role.\nAn electrical background, electrical bias or demonstrable understanding of electrical engineering and installation principles.\nGood understanding of construction processes and the sequencing of site activities.\nStrong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and a structured approach to project administration.\nGood communication skills and confidence working with contractors, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.\nAbility to identify problems, follow actions through to completion and escalate issues when required.\nCompetent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.\nAbility to travel to project sites within the Amsterdam region and elsewhere in the Netherlands when required.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nExperience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or live operational environments.\nExperience within MEP, electrical contracting, building services, industrial or technically complex construction projects.\nExperience using project planning or project management software.\nExperience with commissioning, QA/QC or project handover processes.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD, BIM or drawing-management platforms.\nQualifications\nGood written and spoken English - essential.\nElectrical or engineering qualification at vocational, HNC/HND, MBO/HBO or equivalent level - desirable.\nVCA safety certification or equivalent - desirable.\nUnderstanding of Dutch electrical standards and working practices, including NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 - desirable.\nDutch language skills would be beneficial but are not essential.\nWorking Arrangement\nLocation: Amsterdam Region, Netherlands\nWorking Pattern: Hybrid - site based / home working\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nThis is a hybrid role, combining site-based project coordination with home working.\nThe amount of time spent on site will vary depending on the stage and requirements of individual projects.
