Introduction We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with PostgreSQL knowledge to manage, maintain, and optimise enterprise-scale database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), replication, performance tuning, database automation, and security. The role involves ensuring database stability, reliability, scalability, and performance while supporting infrastructure modernisation and cloud adoption initiatives. The candidate will also handle critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, maintain operational documentation, and mentor junior DBAs. Duties & Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including SQL Server clustering and Always On Availability Groups. Manage database replication, data movement, and synchronisation across large enterprise database environments. Monitor database health, performance, availability, and stability, proactively resolving potential issues.
