Description SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc. Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox) Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate and report SHEQ status CUSTOMERS Ensure Customer Satisfaction BUSINESS PROCESSES Electrodes: Install electrode casings to enable Söderberg electrode formation Load electrode paste and monitor paste levels Stocks: Monitor casings and paste cylinder stock levels Reporting: Update the Casing Welding log sheets and the MES system BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: Safety Awareness Initiative Managing Work Results Orientation Work Standards Interpersonal Skills Communication Adaptability Contributing to team Success Requirements Minimum qualifications: Grade 12 / N3 1 Year Welding or relevant technical certificate 2 years’ relevant experience Closing date: 15 November 2026
