About the Role
You drive Samba's growth across Brazil, Mexico, and broader Latin America by combining technical expertise with consultative selling, positioning our enterprise products as trusted solutions and helping sales teams close deals by showing the measurable value of Samba's offerings in media activation, TV measurement, planning, tune-in analysis, and outcomes-based strategies. You report to the Director of Sales Engineering.
What You'll Do
- Be the Trusted Resource: Build collaborative relationships with enterprise sales teams across Latin America as a trusted resource for product and technical expertise, promoting Samba's products while aligning solutions to genuine client needs.
- Join the Sales Cycle: Join first-contact client meetings and the entire sales cycle, from discovery to closing, presenting Samba's solutions consultatively and identifying the right fit, from measurement use cases to data licensing.
- Advise on Needs: Serve as a trusted advisor: analyze client needs and business challenges, tailor Samba's enterprise data or measurement solutions to fit, and recommend tune-in or TV outcomes-based solutions where appropriate.
- Explain Technical Concepts: Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences while giving in-depth explanations to technical stakeholders, and work with Product and Engineering to ensure smooth implementation and seamless client experiences.
- Craft Technical Solutions: Craft technical solutions using media measurement tools, TV tune-in metrics, outcomes-based analytics, APIs, clean rooms, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) tailored to client needs.
- Grow Accounts: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities using data insights, and partner with internal teams to align products with Latin American market needs and go-to-market strategies that emphasize measurable client benefits.
- Represent Samba: Represent Samba at client meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions across Mexico and Latin America.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 2+ years in sales engineering, product management, or a related field in adtech, measurement, or martech, with strong expertise in media measurement, TV measurement, and data services.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, extract, transform, load (ETL) workflows, and cloud computing platforms.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying technical concepts and a proven ability to pitch, sell, and negotiate with technically minded stakeholders.
- Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, with trilingual communication across client and internal teams essential, and deep familiarity with the Latin American advertising and media landscape.
- A trusted partner and natural collaborator whom sales teams rely on to improve client interactions and deal success, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset for identifying challenges and crafting tailored solutions.
- Approachable and friendly, building rapport effortlessly with internal teams and clients, adaptable to changing priorities and evolving market conditions, and thriving in cross-functional teams.
