We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, systems, and services. This role is designed for an experienced cloud professional who can independently collaborate across departments and ensure that cloud technology initiatives align with business objectives and best practices.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).\n\nArchitect, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters supporting mission-critical, containerized applications.\n\nDefine and enforce cloud standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.\n\nMaintain, monitor, and optimize cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.\n\nTroubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure high system availability and performance.\n\nInfrastructure as Code & Automation:\n\nDesign and maintain robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using tools such as Terraform, ensuring repeatability and compliance.\n\nEstablish and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery.\n\nDrive automation-first approaches to infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.\n\nImplement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes.\n\nChampion DevOps and GitOps practices across teams to improve deployment velocity and system reliability.\n\nCloud Operations, Security & Governance:\n\nProvide technical leadership for cloud operations, including monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.\n\nDesign and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, and compliance controls.\n\nOwn cloud cost management strategies, including cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and resource governance.\n\nCollaboration & Cross-Functional Support:\n\nServe as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, providing guidance and support across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Security teams.\n\nCollaborate with other departments such as Development, Product, and Security to translate business requirements into scalable and resilient cloud solutions.\n\nLead documentation efforts for cloud architectures, operational runbooks, and best practices.\n\nWymagania\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles, with demonstrated senior-level responsibility.\n\nDeep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or GCP), including production-scale environments.\n\nExpert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and infrastructure automation.\n\nExtensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems, including designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting clusters at scale.\n\nProficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).\n\nStrong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, network security, encryption and compliance.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nOferujemy\nThe position is an International Full Time Employee role based in Warsaw with a hybrid work model.
