And our employees rate SambaSafety as top-notch, with a rock solid 4.9-star rating on Glassdoor.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO: \nThe primary responsibility of the Collections Manager is to manage the entire collections process for all customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, effectively reducing outstanding AR, mentor the collections team, and enhance collection strategies. As well as other duties assigned.\nThis position reports to the Accounts Receivable Director of SAMBA Holdings, Inc., or to other supervisors as assigned.\nTo be successful in this position the candidate will perform the essential job duties below with minimal supervision.\nCollections Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the collections function, including monitoring collection efforts, reducing overall accounts receivable balances, and ensuring timely follow-up on past-due accounts.\nTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, train, and develop collections staff, ensuring team members have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to perform their roles effectively and achieve departmental goals.\nBilling and Collections Support: Manage and support the Accounts Receivable Clerk in handling customer billing and collections inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of customer service.\nDispute Resolution: Serve as the escalation point for complex collections issues, customer disputes, and payment-related concerns, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Onboarding, and other departments to address and resolve complex account issues, improve cash flow, and support customer retention.\nPortfolio Management: Directly manage and collect on a select portfolio of strategic or “white glove” customer accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances.\nPerformance and Reporting: Monitor key collections metrics, aging trends, and team performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased collection effectiveness.\nProcess Improvement: Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures to improve collections efficiency, reduce delinquency, and enhance overall accounts receivable performance.\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Collections\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a Management Position\nExcellent attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking\nMust have a team player mindset with adaptability to monitor own work\nSaaS experience preferred\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nStrong experience overseeing collections and credit functions\nProven experience at successfully developing & strengthening management controls and operational processes.\nStrong process management skills\nDemonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results\nResults-oriented to ensure delivery of operational and financial objectives\nHands-on leader\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills\nBENEFITS & PERKS:\nUnlimited Paid Time Off and Paid Volunteer Days\n401k Employer Match \nGenerous Healthcare Benefits including a fully employer paid family medical plan\nUp to 12 weeks paid time off for maternity leave based on tenure\nWellness &Tuition Reimbursement\nFlexible Work Arrangements\nLots of SambaSafety swag\nSambaSafety Events \nOur team of talented and committed safety professionals is exceptional.
