With a product mindset, you will help shape the next phase of our growth.\nAs a Senior Software Engineer at Sambla Group you will work together with a close-knit team of developers on all levels. Everyday work as a developer here revolves around developing our product & internal systems, managing our infrastructure and launching exciting experiments. Our stack is Javascript-focused with Node.js for backend, with our services running on AWS. Having superb skills in our entire stack is not a requirement, but the will to learn is!\nThis position is based at our headquarters on Tulegatan in Stockholm.\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and develop backend services powering our new products and ventures.\n\nActively take part in product discovery and influence what we build.\n\nCollaborate with frontend, design, and business colleagues to deliver end-to-end value.\n\nWrite clean, reliable, and scalable code with ownership from idea to production.\n\nContribute to defining our ways of working and technical patterns as we grow.\n\nWhat we expect from you:\n5+ years of backend or fullstack experience with frequent product shipping.\n\nStrong understanding of modern software engineering principles and architectures.\n\nExperience with or curiosity for our stack: Node.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, and AWS (including CDK and CloudFormation).\n\nExperience designing and building APIs, services and scalable systems.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.\n\nExperience working with databases, testing and CI/CD.\n\nExperience in employing AI on daily work and create reusable workflows.\n\nA collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\n\nBonus: App-first products, React Native or Cloud-based AI workloads.\n\nAbove all: a product mindset, you want to understand why we build things and you see impact as important as delivery.\n\nWhy this role?\nShape the foundations: Help set patterns and practices in teams where ways of working are still evolving.\n\nBuild for scale: Work on customer-facing features that reach thousands, while also designing systems that support Sambla’s growth.\n\nGrow and explore: Join at a stage where team missions and ventures expand, giving you the chance to explore different problem spaces over time.\n\nWork with purpose: What you build helps everyday people take control of their finances and create lasting impact in their lives.\n\nWe might be a little different from most companies.
