This role ensures the health and stability of cloud services through proactive monitoring, Terraform-based infrastructure management, AWS platform administration, ServiceNow-based change/release practices, and successful delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions that enable business and application\nCloud engineering and operations: via automation and other means, implement platform-related AWS resources including certificates, keys, storage, compute, network resources, IAM/access controls, and operational logging.\nInfrastructure design and deployment: support private and public cloud patterns, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and access control for enterprise AWS environments.\nAWS networking and hybrid connectivity: support VPC, subnet, routing, firewall, Direct Connect/VPN, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity patterns that integrate AWS with existing customer networks.\nInfrastructure as Code and scripting: use Terraform, Python, AWS CLI, SDKs, and enterprise CI/CD tools to automate repeatable platform capabilities and support applications across the DevOps landscape.\nSolution design and implementation: define implementation designs, collaborate with enterprise architects, and oversee automation implementation to ensure consistency with standards and best practices.\nPerformance metrics: monitor, establish, and report key performance indicators that promote success factors for the cloud platform and broader software portfolio.\nRisk, audit, and compliance: manage audit requirements, remediate findings, communicate risks, and support compliance across AWS platform services.\nDisaster recovery: implement, support, and test disaster recovery plans for AWS platform services and DevOps tools.\nChange/release management: use ITIL practices and tools such as ServiceNow to improve operational discipline, change control, release quality, and service efficiency.\nCustomer enablement: partner with business, application, security, operations, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver secure, resilient, compliant, and cost-effective AWS solutions.\nTechnical leadership: provide advanced troubleshooting, project leadership, implementation oversight, mentoring, and guidance to new and existing staff members.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor`s degree and seven years of experience in development, production support, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.\n5+ years AWS cloud experience, preferably in enterprise or financial services environments.\n7-10 years of technical experience working in IT organizations, preferably in financial services organizations.\n5+ years of experience in enterprise software development lifecycle management.\n5+ years of experience in software development, build/release management, and change/incident management.\n4+ years of systems administration experience.\nExperience with AWS technologies including backup and restore, disaster recovery, networking, security groups, network ACLs, troubleshooting, operational logging, storage, compute, and access control.\nExperience with AWS network design including VPCs, subnets, route tables, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN connectivity, firewalls, security groups, and cloud security constructs.\nDemonstrated experience supporting production AWS deployments and operationalized cloud projects.\nDemonstrated experience with AWS automation and coding technologies including AWS CLI, Terraform, Python, SDKs, and CloudFormation where applicable.\nExperience with Terraform deployments using GitLab, GitHub, or comparable enterprise CI/CD and SDLC tools.\nExperience working with security, operations, engineering, enterprise architecture, platform, and application teams to deliver complete AWS solutions.\nExperience defining implementation designs including system diagrams, data models, business process diagrams, and design collaboration with enterprise architects.\nExperience overseeing automation implementation to ensure delivery is consistent with standards, design decisions, and best practices.\nAchieved one public cloud Associate-level certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect -
