For more information, visit the company’s website at sampson-construction.com.\nThe Project Engineer assists the Project Manager and Superintendent in managementontheconstructionproject.HelpstheProjectManagerdirectand superviseactivitiesrelatedtocontractadministration,budget,andschedule.\nMaintainsarelentlessfocusonmeetingandexceedingclientneedsand expectations.\nDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProfessionalcommunicationwithallpartiesinvolvedintheconstruction project.\nAssists in project budget.\nAssists in project schedule.\nKnowsandunderstandsprojectdocuments.\nKnows and understandsthe requirementsofowner’scontract,includingbonds,fees,notifications,schedules,reporting,andinsurance.\nAssistsProjectManagerinmanaging thesubcontractingprocess and relationships with subcontractors.\nAssistsincoordinatingthescheduletoassuresubcontractorsandsuppliers are meeting project schedule.\nEffective communication with owner and owner representative to provide a positive construction experience to owners and users.\nEmployseffectiveconflictresolutionandproblemsolvingstrategies.\nBuildsrelationshipswithclients,designteam,subcontractors,suppliers,and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the project expectations.\nActivelyparticipatesinindustry,client,andcommunityactivitiestoenhance company image.\nHelps prepare for and participates in proposals and interviews seeking potential new business opportunities.\nCoordinatesandcommunicateswithContractAdministratorandotherproject team support staff.\nAssistsinconductingandreportingofpre-installationmeetings.\nBestationedonsiteormakeregularjobsitetripstocollaboratewiththejobsite superintendent.\nOther duties as assigned. \n QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS:\nSKILLS:\nDemonstratesexcellentcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal.\nDemonstrates ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the business.\nDemonstrates management skills with ability and willingness to face challenges,solveproblems,andmotivateothers,whilemaintainingeffective relationships with clients by meeting or exceeding their requirements and expectations.\nDemonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as e-mail, internet, and Microsoft products (i.e. Word,Excel,Office),andschedulingandconstructionadministrationsoftware.\nDemonstratesconflictresolutionandproblemsolvingskills.\nIs Self-motivated, andhas good timemanagement skills\n\nEDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’sDegreeinrelatedconstructionfield,orsimilarfieldexperience.\n\nSampson Construction is dedicated to advancing diversity, inclusion and equality in everything that we do.
