For the latest news, visit news.samsung.com/us.\nRole and Responsibilities\nThe Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in managing order fulfillment, inventory allocation, and supply chain operations within the TV organization. This position serves as a key connection point between Samsung Headquarters, factory operations, planning teams, logistics, and major retail customers.\nThe role is responsible for managing customer orders and inventory across multiple distribution channels, including Best Buy, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and PC Richard & Son. The position requires continuous monitoring of factory inventory, production schedules, customer demand, purchase orders, transfer orders, and shipment status to ensure inventory is allocated and delivered through the most efficient supply chain channels.\nThe position also manages supply chain exceptions, including unshipped and uncommitted orders, production and inbound delays, customer cancellations, quality-control issues, trailer diversions, and inventory redirection. Through close coordination with factory and Headquarters teams, the role supports inventory optimization, reduction of cross-shipping, aging inventory management, and overall customer fulfillment.\nRole and Responsibilities\nManage weekly order tracking and fulfillment activities for major TV retail customers, including Best Buy, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and PC Richard & Son.\nMonitor and manage customer purchase orders, order changes, delivery adjustments, corrections, and system discrepancies.\nManage weekly SAMEX factory inventory by reviewing available inventory, production schedules, prior-week orders, quality-controlled inventory, and other supply changes.\nPartner closely with the Planning team to provide accurate factory inventory visibility and support customer allocation and commitment decisions.\nConsolidate inventory, production, and customer order data into weekly order tracking files to determine the most efficient allocation and fulfillment strategy.\nManage aging SAMEX inventory and identify opportunities to improve inventory utilization and reduce aging exposure.\nCreate manual Purchase Orders to facilitate inventory movement from factory locations to hubs for allocation purposes.\nCreate and manage standard Transfer Orders between hub locations to optimize inventory positioning and customer fulfillment.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in related field\n5+ years of experience in supply chain, order management, inventory management, logistics, or a related field.\nExperience managing customer orders and inventory within a complex supply chain environment.\nExperience working with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.\nStrong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, allocation, and logistics processes.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive operational requirements.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across Factory, Headquarters, Planning, Sales, and Logistics organizations.\nAbility to identify supply chain issues, analyze available information, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.\nMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-functional, and multicultural business environment.\nSkills and Qualifications\nSkills\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong inventory allocation and order management skills.\nUnderstanding of supply chain planning, fulfillment, and distribution processes.\nAbility to analyze inventory, production, customer demand, and shipment data to support allocation decisions.\nStrong attention to detail and system accuracy.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple customers, orders, and supply chain issues simultaneously.\nAbility to identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions to improve inventory flow.\nStrong understanding of ERP and order management systems.\nAbility to communicate effectively between Factory and Headquarters teams.\nAbility to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.\n-\nLife @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/\nBenefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/\nundefined\nRegular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
