This includes but is not limited to; managing multi-departmental budget usage, analyzing abnormalities in spend within budget or care procedures (free of charge repair, returns, etc.), forecasting financial spend in the areas mentioned before, processing invoices, financial fraud mitigation, and overseeing payment process for refunds issued out to consumers. This role will be responsible for leading individuals and supporting other teams within the organization. This role also supports organizations in Sales and Finance to fulfill the business needs and requirements of product development projects and activities.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee multiple streams of cost analysis and impacts to present opportunities and improvements to the organization and leadership\nDirectly Manage individuals processing vendor invoices\nSupport warranty and returns departments directly in cost trends and forecasting\nLead governance of overall Care division budget and work with stakeholders to help them manage the business (annual budget of $70M)\nWork with system development teams to improve through automation and AI to bring optimization\nOversee payment process from Samsung to customers, supported by third party bank\nEnsure cash posting / reconciliation is managed and properly updated to meet compliance with Treasury and Accounting teams\nSupport maximizing the return recovery value of all returned goods from E-commerce, Sales Logistics, Commercial (dealer) returns, and Technical (service) returns through strategy and implementing cost-efficient service program, which includes B-goods transfer management, semi-annual physical inventory audits, refurbishment based on BER guide, resale processes, and/or liquidations.\nResponsible in managing and implementing audits through Warranty Health Check System (WHCS) including fraud detection, prevention, and deterrence of SEA Field Service Network warranty claims, B2C and B2B service exchange and refunds, Dealer service return authorizations (SRA) and 3PL BPO reverse logistics invoice.\nSkills and Qualifications\nNecessary Skills / Attributes\nBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or 6+ years of experience in the related field\nSix Sigma or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred\n3+ years’ experience in returns management or accounting\nStrong expertise in terms of data handling and deriving strategic insights in discovering potential abnormal claim trends, return trend, and opportunities to minimize return loss.\nExperience seeing projects through the full life cycle with outstanding project management and work execution skills.\nProven ability to strategize, navigate, and solve problems creatively.\nAbility to multi task in fast-paced environment, to work on high-pressure multi-cultural environment, and to meet deadlines.\nExcellent analytical skills and expert in Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access), as well as other analytical or database tools (e.g. SAP, Business Intelligence, Tableau)\nStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.\nStrong Verbal and Written communication is required.\nLife @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/\nBenefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/\nRegular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
