The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for supporting and executing on professional procurement responsibilities (detailed below) for primarily service segments related to repair & maintenance, time & material agreements, and equipment purchasing. This includes sourcing, negotiation, and working with internal customers and external vendors to reach mutually agreeable and cost efficient business agreements. Role requires the ability to successfully manage relationships both externally (with vendor, 3PL, etc.) and internally. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working with multiple suppliers while representing Samsung in the most honest manner. This role is more specific to project based procurement that will facilitate service agreements and at the same time working with end users to determine the best and most cost efficient solutions for the company (subject to change based on company needs).Role and Responsibilities\nHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:\nPrimary responsibilities include sourcing, negotiate pricing/terms, facilitate procurement workflow, vendor selection/management, contract revisions/renewals, and regular reporting to management\nManage and drive the procurement processes using Samsung systems.\nWork with internal customers and drive cost efficiencies.\nAbility to analyze and interpret financial data, solve problems, and make procedural decisions and/or judgements.\nAssess value and product/service reliability relative to cost; plan, organize, and coordinates acquisition alternatives, as appropriate.\nTo follow procurement rules & regulations and enforce onto procedures and activities that support Samsung processes.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's what you'll need:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.\n3+ years of related experience\nCPM/CPSM/CPIM certification a plus\nSelf-motivated individual with high initiative, flexibility, customer service, and strong attention to detail\nSkills in the negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements for goods and services\nKnowledge of costing and pricing methodologies\nProficient with MS Excel \nClear and concise communication skills (written and verbal)\nStrong business acumen and sense of ownership\nThe current base salary range for this role is between$84,000 - $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
