The day-shift equipment supervisor is responsible for a fast-paced equipment team that delivers preventative and corrective maintenance excellence. The supervisor is the conduit for leadership communications between days and nights. The ideal candidate would be skilled in making appropriate escalations. As the supervisor, you monitor performance of the team as a whole, and as individuals, providing mentoring, coaching, and guidance. You develop and deliver annual performance reviews for your team. Furthermore, this Leadership role includes ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines for the team.Role and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nProvide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories.\nEnsure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are utilized, and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality.\nMonitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety programs and regulations.\nWork with employees and internal customers to resolve technical equipment problems. Coordinate preventive maintenance to effectively meet production and equipment needs.\nFacilitate shift to shift communication links in order to maintain cross-team momentum. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the area/factory.\nManage the Equipment Maintenance Tech Resources to meet Factory Metrics.\nMaintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance.\nCoordinate vendor support.\nMaintain the teams’ safety training, document EHS incidents, and proactively correct workplace hazards in the factory, empowering others to continuously improve operational safety.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's What You'll Need:\n 5-10 years of manufacturing / maintenance experience.Associate or 2-year technical degree or 4 years equivalent technical Military service is preferred.\nTechnical leadership experience preferred with a minimum of five years in manufacturing maintenance for high-speed production. lines and machine operations experience with progressive responsibility.\nFour years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred.Strong preventive maintenance development experience.\nAbility to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality / speed balance.\nAble to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities while establishing and achieving goals.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nExperience with handling hazardous chemicals and waste.\nGood computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must.\nElectro-mechanical aptitude, Basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.\nMust be able to work a 12-hour shift.\nMust be able to work/stand in a clean room suit for extended periods of time.\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
