At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow.\nCome innovate with us!\nPosition Summary\nThe CVD Parts Conductor is responsible for the budget and spending of the CVD department, ensuring the fab has the necessary hardware and consumables to run without overspending. Conductor will handle the daily tracking of spares and repairs and work with Finance and Engineering to secure funding. Conductor will analyze spending trends and present cost reports to leadership to ensure we hit our KPIs.Conductor will work closely with Equipment Engineering to forecast CVD materials, managing inventory to stop materials from expiring while ensuring we never run out of critical parts. Conductor will also be the primary owner of Samsung’s proprietary ordering and tracking system for the department.\nRole and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nTrack spending for each work team in the spares, repair, and consumables categories.\nWorks with engineering teams to determine project cost projection.\nAudit all purchase requests to ensure we aren't overstocking or understocking.\nManage and create cost-saving projects to reduce departmental spend.\nSetup and audit repair loops; find new ways to repair parts or find alternative sources for OEM parts.\nGather data on expenses and high-dollar parts for the monthly budget proposal.\nManage parts related items in engineering test plans.\nAssists with vendor selection when purchasing items from them. \nManage in-fab storage and consumables inventory. \nBuild better systems to streamline cost tracking and material flow.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHas substantial understanding on the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks\nWorks on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations\nNormally receives little instruction on everyday work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments\nTypically requires a minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1\nTotal Rewards\nAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
