This role requires a combination of technical expertise and project coordination experience, and leadership capabilities to guide local teams and third-party vendors.Role and Responsibilities\nRole Responsibilities:\nPerform on-site data center operations and ensure proper implementation of infrastructure projects, including server relocations and hardware installations\nHands-on installation of servers, network and security equipment, as well as structured and rack-to-rack cabling, following industry standards\nMaintain and troubleshoot various hardware and physical network components\nOn-site coordination with third-party vendors for the installation of racks, power, servers, network equipment, and cabling\nEnsure all cabling and infrastructure installations follow standards\nManage inventory and coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies for both domestic and international shipments\nDocument, improve, and maintain standard operating procedures\nInitiate and manage RMAs with equipment vendors\nProvide after-hours on-call support for emergencies and outages as part of a rotation with other engineers\nSkills and Qualifications\nRole Requirements:\nMinimum 5 years of experience working in data centers, including experience with data center and network vendors, coordinating service provisioning and equipment installations\nStrong hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting server hardware, network circuits, and cables\nFamiliarity with structured cabling standards\nExperience in project coordination within data center environments\nExperience with inventory control and remote hands coordination\nProficiency in Google Workspace, especially with complex spreadsheets and shared documentation\nStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to lead and represent operational interests on-site\nSelf-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision\nBroad technical understanding of data center hardware, networking, and cloud infrastructure\nProficiency in spoken and written English\nWillingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)\n#Li-Midsenior\n#Li-SESP\n* Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
