For the latest news, visit news.samsung.com/us.\nRole and Responsibilities\nPosition Overview:\nThe Project Accounting Specialist will be mainly responsible for providing financial transactional support for the Chick Fil A program using the non-traditional Samsung Electronics America project-based Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) accounting model. This position will be the Subject Matter Expert for WBS processes currently utilized for the CFA program. This role will also support additional transactional processes for direct to customer sales between Samsung’s Software and Solutions team and end customers.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nCFA Order Management - Designing and entering projects into NERP while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and specialized customer requirements\nCFA/Insight Accounts Receivable Management & communication\nVendor Accounts Payable Management & communication\nProject, Customer, and Vendor account reconciliation including interaction with customers and or vendors to understand and rectify transactional concerns\nNon-CFA direct account process execution support\nIdentify potential process improvements and actively participate in activities to increase transactional efficiency\nSkills and Qualifications\nBackground/Experience Required:\nAccounting and administrative background including billing, collections, payables, and other accounting-based functions.\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferable, or extensive previous experience\nAdvanced Excel / Spreadsheet knowledge and skills\nSAP/NERP Experience and knowledge\nPO and Order Entry knowledge\nPUMI Creation\nMandatory Skills and Attributes:\nSelf-motivated with demonstrated ability to think and work independently.\nDemonstrated ability to interact at all levels within Samsung and customer organizations. \nThe ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple accounting tasks (A/R, A/P, Vendor Management, etc.) with follow up.\nAbility to make professional accounting presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally.\nAbility to support other Samsung teams to achieve customer contracted accounting objectives.\nOther Requirements:\nWork is generally performed in an office environment.\nOperate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 80% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.\nRequires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity.\nPerforms work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and billing / payment cycles.\nMachines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC’s, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area.\nMay require working additional hours beyond normal schedule.\nTravel rare, but occasionally necessary.\nLife @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/\nBenefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/\n* Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
