This role works closely with engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design and quality requirements, while supporting commissioning and successful facility turnover.Role and Responsibilities\nHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:\nManage construction activities for assigned projects.\n\nReview engineering drawings, RFIs, and submittals.\n\nCoordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.\n\nSupport Instrumentation & Controls and/or Network infrastructure installations.\n\nOversee cable routing, fiber/copper infrastructure, and system integration.\n\nSupport commissioning, testing, and project turnover.\n\nResolve field engineering and construction issues.\n\nTrack project schedule, quality, safety, and cost.\n\nIdentify process improvements and drive execution efficiency.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n Here's what you'll need:\nRequired qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related).\n\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience supporting large commercial constructions projects (semiconductor, Datacenter experience is a plus).\n\nexperience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross functional stake holders.\n\nworking knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, Submittals, field issue resolution.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced construction environment.\n\nproficient with Microsoft office and project management tools and ability to create JIRA trackers.\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nexperience with Instrumentation & Controls systems, Industrial networking or low voltage infrastructure.\n\nexperience supporting commissioning and startup, system turnover activities.\n\nKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing facilities or industrial process systems.\n\nfamiliarity with construction/project management and contract coordination.\n\nexperience using PM tools such as Jira, Bluebeam, ACC and similar platforms.\n\nAbility to identify process improvement opportunities and develop standardized workflow to improve project execution.\n\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $95,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nTotal Rewards\nAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
