The candidate is expected to have adequate knowledge of 3 phase electrical power, in relation to process and distribution panels sourcing 480 Vac, 208 Vac, and 120 Vac systems. Knowledge of Arc Flash assessments, Incident Energy evaluations, NFPA 70E compliance, and OSHA Electrical Standards. Responsibilities also include the development of design standards, PM programs/tools and system SOP’s.Role and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nSupervising the coordination of tool hookup equipment execution in construction, commissioning, startup, and documentation closeout. \nOversee Facilities Services team in construction, commissioning, and improving on design execution, KTA panel packages and Process Panel schedules.\nOrganize equipment design and engineering members to analyze improvements, submit redlines, submit RFIs, and closeout of department punch items.\nDevelop, review, and approve SAS site electrical specifications, review and approve Facilities Services Standard Operating Procedures. \nKnowledge in arc flash protections, Voltage Drop Calcs, equipment load studies, switch gear, Bus plugs, and panel configurations etc.\nManaging the incident response/recovery, and Safety presentations\nControlling access to areas, belonging to the Facilities Electrical Department and utilized by Facilities Services Department.\nEnsuring configuration control of all electrical equipment and devices (Arc gear, meters, thermal imaging, etc.)\nDevelopment of detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all tool hookup operations and processes.\nDevelopment of department level SOPs for standardization of internal processes and procedures.\nOffice and field oversight of Breaker Operations/combining activities for commissioning (SL1s)\nCommunicate important and relevant information to the department and team leadership\nDevelopment of Business Integration systems to improve interconnectivity\nSupport Engineering Manager and Department Manager in the production of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other reports.\nLead, organize, and execution of documentation for DEW (De-Energized Electrical Work) process and EEW (Energized Electrical Work) process.\nEducation, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's What You'll Need:\nBS degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s in technical field a plus).\nMinimum of 5 years of Experience with Electrical distribution and General Knowledge of Panel-boards, Switchboards, local Substations etc.\nRegistered Professional Engineer in state of Texas (or ability to transfer from another state) is a plus.\nWorking knowledge of IBC, IFC, and other codes and standards applicable to industrial power distribution system design and reliability.\nDetailed working knowledge of industrial power distribution systems design, maintenance, and electrical power monitoring equipment.\nArc Flash and Incident Energy Assessments\nVoltage drop studies, calculations, and design review\nWorking knowledge of OSHA General Industries and Construction vertical standards\nExperience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis including Pivot Tables, data source linking through VLOOKUP, and simple script creation.\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $95,000- $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
