Opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen safety culture and improve hazard awareness for a world leader in manufacturing technology.Role and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nServe as a professional liaison between field operations and senior management.\nDeliver clear, effective safety communications via digital and verbal channels.\nPivot quickly to address shifting priorities in a rapid-growth technology environment.\nSupport the EHS&S department in scaling and strengthening the organization's safety culture.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain world-leading safety standards.\nEngage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry safety trends.\nExecute proactive safety initiatives to increase hazard awareness across the plant.\nProactively recognize hazards - Anticipate, identify, and assess unsafe conditions and practices in real time.\nEffective liaison at all levels - Communicate directly with field personnel and leadership to address identified deficiencies and drive immediate corrective actions.\nImplement and advise on control programs - Administer hazard control initiatives and provide guidance to personnel on proper implementation.\nConduct initial incident investigations - Lead rapid response, gather pertinent data, and document findings for further analysis.\nOversee safety performance - Oversee contractor and internal employee activities from a safety awareness perspective, ensuring adherence to best practice standards.\nMeasure, audit, and evaluate controls - Perform audits, inspections and quantitative assessments to verify the effectiveness of hazard control measures.\nEnsure regulatory compliance - Evaluate and maintain alignment of safety programs and policies with applicable regulations.\nShift: C-shift, scheduled for 12 hour shift, Thurs - Sat & alternate Wednesdays (Days)\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's What You'll Bring to Samsung:\n2 + years of Health & Safety experience - Demonstrated background in workplace safety programs, compliance, and incident management.\nBachelor's or Associate of Science degree preferred - Academic training in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nProfessional safety designation (ASP, GSP, CSP, etc.) - Actively pursuing or already holding a certification is considered a strong asset. \nThe current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
