Apply now.\nData Analytics Manager is responsible for providing the S.com day-to-day operators valuable insights to help shape the direction of the business. This person will lead the Data Team to align tasks and initiatives with specific business goals set forth by Leadership. Tasks will include analyzing large datasets to building models to identify operational trends and anomalies across all LOBs. You will work closely with our internal teams to help us understand our business. This is a highly visible role with high impact across the org.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nLead a team of 3 (2 data engineers, 1 data analyst/scientist) to develop and grow to meet the demands of the business.\nIntake data-related requests from Business and align resources to deliver creative and effective solutions.\nDrive strategic and tactical planning of eCom operations from a data perspective and present recommendations to leadership.\nCollect, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to gain insights into customer behavior and operations trends.\nPrepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to present data findings and support decision making.\nConduct onboarding and training sessions for the operational team to ensure proficiency in utilizing the analytical framework and AI framework for accessing, interpreting, and leveraging detailed data and reports effectively.\nIdentify areas for improvement and suggest data-driven solutions to optimize business operations and increase revenue.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance, and facilitate effective communication of results.\nUtilize statistical methods and visualization tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and anomalies in the data.\nStay updated with the latest analytical tools and techniques to enhance the company's data capabilities.\nProvide ongoing support and training to colleagues on data analysis best practices.\nPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and concise formats, facilitating decision-making processes.\nHelp manage a diverse group of vendor partners that are vital to the success of eCommerce operations, including but not limited to providing input on contract reviews, SLA adherence, budgeting, cost analysis, and procurement.\nPartner with customer service team to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve the customer experience.\nCollaborate with the data warehouse and analytics team to implement new data ingestion processes involving external third-party sources, and facilitate the adoption of a new dashboarding and visualization tool.\nMonitor and take action on exception reporting and understand measurements of KPI’s for lead times, shipping time, backorders, shipping exceptions to track progress towards operational goals for direct eCommerce business and work on initiatives to improve KPIs.\nSkills and Qualifications:\n6+ years in a similar role in eCommerce or Operations.\nDegree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.\nAbility to lead a team and motivate individuals to perform at their best.\nStrong experience in data collection, cleaning, and analysis.\nProficient in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, SQL, Python or other programming language and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.\nMust have experience with Cloud platforms, preferred Google Cloud Platform (GCP , Dataform), AWS.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to convey complex data insights in simple terms.\nAbility to work collaboratively and effectively under pressure.\nFamiliarity with e-commerce platforms and industry metrics.\nExperience with high volume direct to consumer ecommerce fulfillment or returns illustrating process and KPI improvements to scale growth (operations or logistics is a strong advantage.)\nExperience using Tableau, Microsoft PC software including extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access, and SAP business system, or similar sales order management software application.\n\nPhysical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:\n· Work is generally performed in an office environment.\n· Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.\n· The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.\n· Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.\n· Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.\n· Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.\n· Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
