Duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor include but are not limited to people-management and all the ensuing duties that encompass it, troubleshooting advanced production issues through the use of a computer; making decisions based on best known methods or operating procedures; tracking, documenting, and communicating production roadblocks; and working as a team with outside departments to improve manufacturing performance.Role and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nEffective Communication, Ability to analyze data, identifies issues, and provides solutions to closure.\nAbility to influence up, down, and across the organization to create change\nExcellent critical thinking and decision-making skills; recognize 3rd & 4th order effects of a catalyst event\nEffective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization.\nA history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and countermeasure implementation within own areas of responsibility\nProactive and self-driven approach to overcome challenges and achieve results\nBasic knowledge of relevant programming languages: Visual Basic (Excel), Oracle, Secs, PL/SQL, SQL. \nBasic data analysis skills; analyzing & interpreting data.\nExperience in manufacturing sciences (Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, and Flow Optimization)\nWorkhours: B Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's What You Will Need:\nBachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field\nSemiconductor manufacturing experience preferred\n3-5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred\n1-year minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $85,000- $135,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
