The Procurement and Logistics Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing on professional procurement responsibilities (detailed below) for parts related to Facilities Operations and Maintenance Group, and Logistics billing. This includes negotiation, working with internal customers and external suppliers to reach mutually agreeable and cost-efficient business agreements. Role requires the ability to successfully manage relationships both externally (with vendor, 3PL, etc.) and internally. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working with systems (SAP, internal procurement systems).Role and Responsibilities\nHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:\nProcurement workflow facilitation, vendor management, negotiation of pricing and terms, and regular reporting to management.\nPurchase order lifecycle management.\nFacilitate resolution of PO invoicing issues and shipping/order discrepancies.\nWork with internal customers to understand requirements, define scopes of work (SOW), and drive cost efficiencies.\nInventory management; analyze and understand consumption trends. \nSupport procurement systems and processes including internal customer support and guidance.\nParticipate in meetings with suppliers. \nSupplier quality management.\nWork with our logistics providers and process invoices/manage billings.\nAssist with warehousing activities to support stakeholders.\nAssist in the achievement of company objectives and KPIs.\nUpdate business practices and participate in audits as necessary.\nFollow and enforce rules and procedures to support new systems and processes for indirect procurement.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's what you'll need:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.\n1 - 3 years of related experience.\nExperience with an ERP and overall proficiency with inventory management and MS Office.\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $84,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nTotal Rewards\nAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
