Development skill sets include multiple program languages, acquisition & structure of data, quality & performance analysis, customer collaboration, and continuous improvement in coordination with Samsung headquarters standardization.Role and Responsibilities\nHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:\nDevelopment of applications used for collecting data for analysis, monitoring, and process improvement on critical operations or monitoring of application performance and data integrity\nContinuous improvement of user end experience and data processing efficiency\nTroubleshoot user reported system issues and support user requests for improvement or identified data gaps\nFind and consider external system dependencies when developing solutions\nTrace and understand existing source code written by previous developers\nDocument development, testing, and release plans prior to implementation, as well as, review and validate peer development prior to implementation\nWorks on complex assignments that require an in-depth evaluation of various system data structure & interfaces\nAdminister and implement system service policies to maintain security and data integrity\nManage and maintain system hardware and software\nUnderstand implications of the system and the data it hosts to make recommendations for solutions and improvemens\nExpertise relevant to understanding of equipment/processes in assigned areas and should be capable of shifting focus of individual/group’s goals once priorities change\nContinuously revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in an effort to capture detailed processes and technical structure for future reference or for daily usage\nMust have an intermediate understanding of equipment/processes to collaborate with teams or individuals relevant to identified data sharing or system interfaces\nAdaptable to constant change and flexible to meet business needs and initiatives through system and/or data solutions\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's What You'll Need:\nBS or MS in Engineering discipline\nProject Management certified a plus\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a software development\nProficient in object oriented programming languages\nExperience in back-end application development\nExperience working in Windows, Linux, and Unix environments\nStrong interest and experience in automation and software intelligence\nExperience with maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting large scale enterprise systems\nComfortable reviewing and debugging another person’s code\nMotivated to improve existing processes through innovation and creative problem solving\nWorks well both independently and in a team environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExperience working with source code repositories (SVN, Git, etc.)\nWeb development experience is a plus but not required\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nPrevious semiconductor experience is a plus but not required\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $106,000.00 - $145,000.00. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
