At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow.\nCome innovate with us!\nPosition Summary\nThe Tool Hookup Mechanical Project Manager will provide guidance to Facilities Services personnel and serve in a supervisory capacity in a team representative role for Tool Hookup projects.Partners with Line Planning team members and tool hook up design to maintain site mechanical drawings.\nCoordinate with contract designers to execute design packages as needed.\nOversee tool installs, laterals, GCS, and electrical installations.\nReview and redline design packages prior to IFC.\nManaging stakeholders in a customer-service oriented team.\nTechnical writing and reports: project background presentations, daily/weekly reports and project closeout reporting.\nDevelop and modify site specifications to align with ongoing site improvements.\nDevelops software testing & validation procedures, programming & documentation for Facilities Services.\nFuture scenario planning support including schedule forecasting, reporting, and infrastructure utility studies.\nReview and approval of RFI’s (Request for Information).\nOverall strategic utility installation for the site through execution of cleanroom piping and exhaust distribution.\nInterpret AutoCAD tool designs, and interact closely with Unit Parts, GCS, PCS, H&S, CRT and Line Planning.\nCollects and verify Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data\nProactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risk points for safety and code compliance.\nPerform regular site field observations inspections to verify existing conditions of previously installed ductwork, piping, and equipment, meet safety and code standards.\nPossess deep customer service skills. Able to build rapport with other engineers\nHas basic knowledge of the wafer fabrication process\nRole and Responsibilities\nHere's what you'll be responsible for:\nProviding guidance to Facilities Services personnel, and may serve in a supervisory capacity in a team representative role for Projects / IT upgrades in Tool Hookup.\nAssisting Facilities Services Tool Hookup team with DX (Digital Transformation) projects.\nPartnering with Line Planning team members and tool hook up design to maintain site mechanical drawings.\nCoordinating with contract designers to execute design packages as needed.\nOverseeing tool installs, laterals, GCS, and electrical installations.\nPerforming technical writing and performing presentations\nDeveloping and modifying site specifications to align with ongoing site improvements.\nDeveloping software testing & validation procedures, programming & documentation for Facilities Services.\nCollecting and verifying Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.\nPerform regular site field observations inspections to verify existing conditions of previously installed ductwork, piping, and equipment, meet safety and code standards.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHere's what you'll need:\n2 or 4 year degree preferred.\n2 or more years of experience preferred; Project Management of semiconductor facility support and/or IT Infra, System Engineering, Automation Engineering, System Development.\nHas knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, computer software; including applications and programming.\nAbility to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and work in progress.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA standards, IBC and other codes and standards applicable to industrial facility design and construction.\nFamiliarity with design and installation of facility equipment, or design and construction of industrial buildings.\nProficiency in 2D AutoCAD, Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD is a plus.\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - 151,500.\nIndividual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\nThis position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
