Education: Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Apprenticeship Training or OJT (on the job training).\n2. Experience: Toolmaker level 1-6 = 1-7 years experience, Senior Toolmaker 1-4 = 8 plus years experience.\n3. Knowledge: Basic machine shop operation, Basic knowledge of tooling design and function. Overhead crane and forklift operation.\n4. Skills: Work independently, critical thinking and problem solving. Good communication with coworkers, Supervisors and Part Leader.\n5. Physical requirement:\nFrequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.\nOccasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.\nMust occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.\nVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\nGeneral Notice: Candidates are expected to honor their obligations to former employers.
