Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift.\nThe proper use of air/plasma.\nOperation of all applicable pneumatic tools as required. \nResponsible for completing all relevant paperwork as needed for burning processes.\nMark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and or other identifying marks as required.\nPosition and secure work pieces using hoists or cranes.\nResponsible for the replacement of fuel, oxygen cylinders where applicable. \nUpkeep of all burning hardware and replacement of consumables as needed.\nExamine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. \nMonitor equipment operation to ensure that products are not flawed. \nReview blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods. \nResponsible for the selection of raw materials from indoor stock and yard stock. \nMaterial handling - operation of cranes, hoists, and forklifts as needed. Successfully complete any training/safety program relating to the operation of this equipment.\n\nEducation and Certifications \nMust have either a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial based environment. \nQualifications\nAbility to work will in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.\nUnderstanding and support of Company policies and procedures. \nAbility to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job.\nMust have a basic understanding of computers.\nMust have reading, writing and simple math skills.\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. \nSuccessfully complete all training and safety programs for the following:Plasma burning table.\nHead Burner\nPneumatic tools \n\nBe able to accurately use tape measures, levels, scales, caliper, and micrometer. \nWork experience in related industry is an asset but even if you do not have this, we still want you to apply.
