You'll work closely with engineering and assembly teams to ensure equipment is built to the highest quality, safety, and customer standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssemble and install control panels, electrical enclosures, and automation components\nWire control panels and automated machinery according to electrical schematics, customer specifications, and applicable codes and standards\nInterpret and work from electrical drawings and documentation\nTroubleshoot electrical systems and provide in-house service support during machine build and testing\nMaintain red-line electrical drawings to reflect wiring and design changes during build and debug phases\nTrack and manage electrical component inventory and usage\nSupport machine installations, startup, and service activities at customer locations\nMentor electrical apprentices by providing technical guidance, coaching, and feedback on safe work practices\nComplete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards within an ISO-certified environment\nFollow all company health, safety, and quality policies and procedures\nWhat You'll Bring Required Skills & Experience\nLicensed Electrician - 442A or 309A recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Training; will consider a 3rd or 4th year apprentice\nPractical experience wiring industrial control panels and automated machinery\nStrong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation\nProven electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship\nValid driver's license\nTravel Requirements\nValid passport with the ability to travel both locally and internationally\nAvailability to travel for periods of up to three weeks at a time\nWillingness to support equipment installation, commissioning, and service activities at customer sites\nWhat You'll Do\nYou will primarily work independently to complete the electrical build and wiring of custom automation equipment while following established standards and drawings.
